Have you ever heard a song and thought: "This song is about me!"
I bet you have! It doesn't matter what it might be about, but you can relate to it. You understand the artist who wrote it all of a sudden!
You listen to this song over and over, and maybe you present it to others with the motivation of sharing a bit of information about yourself with them, whether you realize it or not.
What you may not realize is that each one of these songs are made in a way so that a lot of people can relate to them - otherwise they wouldn't sell :O

What we might learn from this is that all those feelings, problems and experiences we all go through, has already, or will be gone through by others - There are always those who can also relate to that very song you are listening to right now.
